Congratulations to all those who passed the recent examinations for PME, RME and CPM. There are 35 Professional Mechanical Engineers, 2960 registered mechanical engineers and 32 certified plant mechanics who passed the exam given last October, 2014. Below are the listing of your names:

Philippine Mechanical Engineering Code 2012

The Philippine Mechanical Engineering code will be printed and available early 2012. Pre-ordering for the hardbound edition of the code is currently on-going.

New USFDA Food Code 2013

For those working the food industry, you may be interested to know that tbe new US FDA food code is now available for download from their website. This contains several provisions and good practices in food processing.

Certification of Good Standing

Starting last November, 2011 mechanical engineers renewing their license will need to submit a "Certificate of Good Standing" to the PRC (Professional Regulation Commission) in addition to other requirements.

Happiness is . . . . .

A few decades ago, life & work was so much simpler then. Cost of living was lower and our salary was in retrospect, also much less. Management objectives were based on achieving them on a normal 8 hour day.

PSME CORE VALUES CONTEST FOR 2012

Beginning April and every month thereafter up to the October 60th NatCon, all Chapter PSME members are invited to submit written articles on specific PSME Core Values - in-focus. This can be done through our PSME Batangas East Chapter Secretariat or to our National PSME Secretariat The PSME National Board shall select the best articles monthly, which will be posted on our website. These may also be shared internally by our Chapter during our regular activities.
